This has nothing to do with anything but I've just been feeling like this all day today. Like really, can we all just get up and dance for a sec? MyMyMyHOO!
Randiis a half serious, half silly fashion writer with equal fondness for Proenza and puppies. After graduating from the Ryerson University School of Fashion in Toronto, she relocated to New York where she interned at Teen Vogue and Interview Magazine, worked as a Fashion Week reporter and for like half a second got to pick clothes for Chloë Sevigny.
While Randi currently contributes to various mags, she really just sleeps and dreams all things Katie Girls because she is surrounded by über cool friends and is constantly inundated with wildly inspiring information. She really had no choice but to transform her daily musings into one forum where dialogue was not only welcomed, but required - a modern day Cadavre Exquis, lets say. In the vein of the Surrealists, Dadaists and Aesthetes before her (yeah, right)....she's assembled some of her coolest gal pals to share in the fun, when they feel like it of course, which ain't too often (you've just got to be lucky to catch a sighting we spose..)
The Sometimes Contributors
Robin is from Georgia and so it only makes sense that she finds it hard to leave the house without wearing some sort of ribbon or lace. She's also one part of the troika of Teeny House Bunny accessories!
Sam is a recent graduate of Barnard College at Columbia University and currently studies fashion design at Parsons' New School. She used to be a fencer and is small enough to fit through a dog door.
Randi would also like to give a triple hip hip horay to illustrator Lauren Tamaki, who designed the amazing and beautiful Katie Girls header... buy some shiz from her or hire her or something! Or visit her website at http://www.laurentamaki.com/
